Review of 2019 – A year of reflection
2019 has certainly been an interesting and transformational year for IT Document Solutions, especially with changes in key personnel.
2019 has certainly been an interesting and transformational year for IT Document Solutions, especially with changes in key personnel.
ITDS goes from strength to strength and has continued to achieve sustainable growth in terms of turnover and profit following the growing pains of 2017/18. We have said goodbye to our founding member and Managing director Mark Dansie. Mark has decided to concentrate his efforts on his passion for project management around the building and management of Data Centres. Mark has been a massive part of our success within ITDS and will be greatly missed, however, he does keep an eye on the business and is keen to help as and when required. We also said goodbye to John Dobbelaar, owner of ITDS South Coast Ltd. John’s time within the business was limited, however, his impact with some key new clients has been part of our success in 2019 and is well worth a mention. I’m sure you will join us all in wishing both Mark and John well for the future.
2020 will see more of the same for IT Document Solutions Ltd in terms of continuing to strive to offer the best print and document solutions in the market to our clients. Like most businesses we have had to stay lean during the uncertainty of Brexit, however, as that story unfolds we hope to see further investment within the private sector.
We aim to continue to manage client relationships and deliver high levels of service and support. Continuous improvement remains high on our agenda and delivering solutions related to value-added services wherever possible. Our clients continue to discuss concerns around improving security, IT infrastructure, intellectual property and business-related data, which forms part of every client roadmap from ITDS.
Print devices are often overlooked when it comes to IT security, but this year more than ever highlights the need to ensure printers are adequately protected to keep networks secure:

IT Document Solutions Ltd is a front-runner in delivering printer-related technologies to help businesses understand the threats and protect their organisation against crime and maintain client integrity. To address security concerns and strengthen our portfolio, we have engaged with new security partners to deliver technologies to help fight cybercrime and to ensure our clients are fully protected.
As an aside I would like to mention the charities we have supported throughout the year, their work has changed lives for the better and we will continue to support your selfless efforts.
This year has certainly been both challenging at times and extremely rewarding and we are looking forward to seeing what 2020 will bring.
All of the ITDS Team and our partner channel would like to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
May 2020 and a new decade bring health, wealth and prosperity to you all.
Sincerely,
Jermaine Weeden
