Established in 1991, Judge’s Choice Petfood Ltd are experts in understanding the differing nutritional needs of dogs and their lifestyles, delivering pet food brands to meet these requirements for over 30 years.

Judge’s Choice was granted the Royal Warrant for the supply of pet food to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1996. They continue to supply the Royal Household and are proud of this prestigious accolade of which only 800 companies worldwide are granted.

The Challenge:  

Over the past 12 months Judge’s Choice has gone through an exciting period of growth and this presented the need to outsource their Managed IT support to a provider who can become an extension of their business, to grow alongside them and enable Judge’s Choice to continue their digital transformation path.

By the end of summer 2023, it was apparent that Judge’s Choice had outgrown the current set-up and the requirements of the business demanded more to support business growth.

Part of the longer-term IT plan was for their connectivity solutions to be transitioned to the ITDS umbrella once their contract had expired as well as the next phase, to build a database management system that will enable seamless automation and a holistic view of the business.

The Solution:  

After an initial consultancy period along with running of a range of assessments, ITDS implemented the following changes:

• Deployed remote monitoring software to ensure systems are monitored to provide proactive support

• Implemented security tools such as robust Anti-Virus, Endpoint detection response and MFA

• Migrated Office 365 Cloud services away from existing provider and move to ITDS Managed platform.

• Create and maintain a ‘Run Book’ and Asset Register on the business captures to ensure essential information on the business’s technology and its configuration.

• ITDS provides remote helpdesk services to support all the staff.

• Replaced Internet Phone System with multifunctional solution along with mobile application for remote users with easy portal and client management.

These solutions have allowed Judge’s Choice continue with their day-to-day tasks knowing their business technology provides their team with a secure, modern and environmentally sustainable working environment.  

The remote helpdesk support has allowed Judge’s Choice to focus on being great at what they do.
